WHY MCC
Since 1920 Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) has lived by their mission to impact disadvantaged people through their work in relief, development and peace.
Locally in Ontario we work with refugee resettlement, people in poverty, Indigenous and Low German communities and restorative justice. From our Kitchener warehouse, we ship material aid like health and relief kits overseas to places like Syria, Jordan and Lebanon.
Globally we work with communities impacted by conflict and natural disasters in 72 different countries. We’re meeting needs at a basic level through our partners as we provide food aid, agricultural assistance, education and we work toward bringing peace to areas of conflict. We are deeply aware that we could not do any of this work without strategic partners, donors and shoppers like you. To learn more about our work go to www.mcco.ca
