Winter Gear Pop up Shop – MCC rePurpose Centre hosted by Glencairn Mennonite Brethren Church Kitchener, Ontario.
When the rePurpose Centre opened its doors, the goal was to fill a need and offer high quality gently used clothing and household goods at affordable prices. We wanted to support our community and continue to investigate ways to be accessible for families on a budget, newcomers to our community and those treasure hunters who enjoy finding a good bargain! With that spirit and intent in mind, we’re excited to be launching our very first rePurpose on the move pop-up shop. Hosted at Glencairn Mennonite Brethren Church in Kitchener, the partnership fills a need in the city, is easily accessible via public transit on the iXpress 201 and is open to the public from 12pm-8pm on Thursday, September 26th and Friday, September 27th, 2019.
We’re bringing a selection of gently used winter gear including coats, hats, mitts, scarves, pants, boots and sweaters for adults and kids. For 2 days only we’ll be open in Kitchener and are looking forward to connecting with the community for a good cause. Proceeds from all purchases go towards supporting the ongoing work of Mennonite Central Committee at home and abroad.
